In the twenty-first century, both scholarly and popular interest in John Steinbeck, author of The Grapes of Wrath and winner of the 1962 Nobel Prize for Literature, continues to grow. In that spirit, we seek to further Steinbeck scholarship by promoting The Steinbeck Review as the premier journal for new and established Steinbeck critics, by sponsoring conferences, and by encouraging collegiality and professionalism within the Steinbeck community.
